While installing CoPilot GPS v10.11.1.19 or higher on an Android device that doesn’t have a camera, you will see Camera among the list of permissions during your initial setup (see image below). This should only occur on a device running Android version 5 (Lollipop) or lower.
If you receive this popup message, please disregard the camera permission. You must tap Accept to install CoPilot.
CoPilot does not require camera access—whether or not your device has a camera. The camera access request appears because some of our business customers integrate CoPilot with other applications that do use a camera. Camera access is unavailable in consumer versions of CoPilot sold via app stores.
