Apple have announced that their upcoming iOS 11 update will no longer support devices or apps which have been built on a 32-bit architecture.
Devices affected will be the iPhone 5, 5C and 4th Gen iPad and any older Apple devices.
How does this affect CoPilot apps?
If your iPhone or iPad are compatible with the iOS 11 update you will be unaffected by the changes as all CoPilot Premium, Truck, RV/Caravan and GPS apps on iOS have been running 64-bit architecture since 2015.
If you have an iPhone 5, 5C, 4th Gen iPad or older device they won't be able to upgrade beyond iOS 10. However, they will still be able to run CoPilot as we include both 32-bit and 64-bit code.
What if I have a legacy CoPilot Live app purchased before 2011?
The CoPilot Live app (above icon) is a 32-bit only app and was replaced in 2011 by our current CoPilot Premium and GPS apps and a complimentary upgrade was offered to all users of the app.
If you are still using our legacy app, we suggest you upgrade to our current version by downloading the free CoPilot GPS app from the App Store. By logging in with your existing CoPilot ID and password you will transfer all previous paid licenses to the current GPS app.
